    Permitex Advantages

  • Is formulated using modern acrylic chemistry and contains no clay, plaster, or cement compounds.
  • Is a multiple coat system usually incorporating a primer-binder that reduces surface preparation time and greatly improves adhesion.
  • Remains slightly flexible when cured, making it resistant to cracking as the moisture content of the wall decreases over time.
  • Is durable, resists chipping and cracking on impact, easy to clean and resists staining.
  • Contains mildicides and fungicides in each of the coatings. Is faster and easier to install thereby reducing project delays and budgets. Can be repaired by property personnel (on site training and repair kits are provided by TM Pratt & Company at no charge).
  • Is virtually odor free when applied, enabling installations in partially occupied premises. Other texture products often use ammonia, solvents, and other noxious ingredients.
  • Contains only pigment grade ingredients and therefore can be consistently tinted any color. Other texture products contain cementitious and other filler compounds that are naturally gray and greatly limit your color options.
  • Repairs are less noticeable because Permitex is more workable and contains pigment grade raw materials. Other texture products often use iron or manganese oxides, which can alter the color of new versus original materials, making patches very difficult.
